Angelina Jolie is being recognized for her humanitarian work in a big way. On Friday, the actress was named an honorary dame at Queen Elizabeth’s annual Birthday Honors List ceremony in London. Don’t call her Dame Angelina just yet, though — that title is reserved for British or Commonwealth citizens.

After joining hundreds of others bestowed with dame and knighthood, the Oscar-winning actress said “to receive an honor related to foreign policy means a great deal to me, as it is what I wish to dedicate my working life to.” The words echo the sentiment she shared in a recent BBC interview, in which Angelina said her upcoming role as Cleopatra might be her last.
