The super-rich singer said that it has taken ‘hard work’ to get on Forbes’ rich list.

Katy Perry has made it onto Forbes Rich List and she celebrated by appearing on the front cover -followed by a Taco Bell fast food treat.

The Roar singer is officially the highest earning female star in the world, with all her efforts in the last year scooping her $135million or to us Brits £85.8 million.

Gorgeous singer Katie appeared on the cover wearing a gold top and a jacket designed with matching dollar signs.

She admitted that female stars are afraid of being seen as boastful when it comes to broadcasting their earnings even though that trait is so often celebrated in male entertainers.

“I’m not here to brag,” Katie told Forbes.

“I’m here to inspire other females. … When I saw Jessica Alba on the cover recently, I was like, ‘That is so boss. That is so cool.’ Because you have a perception of her maybe as this actress that does these types of films, but now you see her on the cover of Forbes.

“I’m really happy to be on the cover as a strong female who has created her own career,” she said.

The stunning singer said that she has made it and she’s proud, telling the publication: “Forbes is … really like a mark of, ‘You have made it,’ It’s a Vogue to me … you are acknowledged by the fashion industry in Vogue . Now, with Forbes , you are acknowledged by the [business world] as somebody that is kind of making it.”

Katy’s earnings won her third place in the list of the top 100 rich celebs in the world right now, ranking after world-renowned boxers Floyd Mayweather, who came in first with $300 million, and Manny Pacquiao in second place with $185 million.

She beat Taylor Swift too who scooped eighth place with a cool $80 million.

Katy also took to Instagram and left a heart-warming statement.

Alongside the covershoot picture she wrote: “Before accepting the offer to be on the cover of Forbes, I was told that a lot of women have previously shied away from doing it. I wondered if it was because they thought socially it would look like they were flaunting or bragging or it wasn’t a humble decision.

“Ladies, there is a difference between being humble and working hard to see the fruits of your labor blossom, and your dreams realized. Hopefully this cover can be an inspiration to women out there that it’s okay to be proud of hard earned success and that there is no shame in being a boss. Also… don’t think that I didn’t celebrate this moment by going straight to Taco Bell and getting my crunch wrap supreme #ontourbreak ”

Go, Katie!
